Can people just pass anime that they seems dont like it without leaving any comment ?🙄, like what did you expect an trophy or something

Shinya • 1 year ago

Ah, my words exactly!
While people are free to comment whatever they like in the comment section, it's always surprising how when it comes to BL or at least BL looking anime most of them have the need to let everyone know they aren't going to watch the anime, not because of its quality but only because it is not "straight enough" for their tastes.
Everyone has the right to like or dislike a genre or a visual. But if you are not going to watch it, there is always the option to just quietly retreat and not watch it, without having to inform the rest of the world about it. Shocking, I know.
Some people feel uncomfortable with same sex love related anime and some others love them. That's preference. It's personal. It doesn't concern anyone but themselves.
And the complaint of "another BL" ? Please. They aren't even that many out there. Especially in comparison to the other genres that I don't see anyone complaining about. Art imitates life, and life has a little bit of everything. Can't we accept it and move on?

Kay Southpaw • 1 year ago

There are too many iskeai anime every season, especially plotless harems. There, I did the complaining. Maybe I should do it under isekai harem titles so they feel the taste of their own medicine xD

Shinya • 1 year ago

Ηaha, that would be interesting~
You are totally right, the plethora of content on those genres is out of this world (isekai joke).

Scarlet Rose • 11 months ago

I really don’t care about the genre as long as the story is good enough. I watch anime for the story and if the art style and/or the music and/or the graphics is/are good then that’s a plus.

The only categories that I don’t like are horror and gore and harem or reverse harem and psychological but even that I can tolerate if everything else is good enough.

The only things that I really can’t tolerate is those anime or webcomics with sexual scenes in details I mean uncensored or rape scenes either implied or shown I hate both.

I’m just talking about my own personal preference so don’t mind if you don’t agree.

Shinya • 11 months ago

No reason to disagree here. All of us have our preferences, likes, dislikes and limits.
I am also not fond of the ones you mentioned, but I have watched some of them, often just for the art.
While guilty of watching h3n+@!, I do dislike some of those too, especially if it's shotacon or lolicon. That's why I always check the tags. Doujinshi included.
Something that made me personally drop an anime at the 2nd episode, was the sexualization of 12 years old girls. They were designed as if they were very...gifted...adult women, the "camera angles" were also fanservice based, and part of the story itself was about how desirable those little girls are for grown men and how a brat wanted to rape the main character. And yet all the comments were about this as potential yuri (between first cousins but oh well, not a problem for some cultures) and people shipping the girls of the team. And I was like... Why is NOBODY talking about the fact they sexualize kids???

iCurvaceous • 1 year ago

People complain all the time about other genres. Its definitely not seclusive to BL/gay anime. I think the reason why the complaint here is bigger than other genres is the lack of tags. If people just simply got a forewarning before they watched an anime they wouldnt feel like they wasted their time watching animes that werent their preferences. But yeah you find complaints everywhere.

Meh Idk but K • 1 year ago

Point you're missing out on is that they do it intentionally, despite knowing that's the case. They're just immature brats with complicated living enviornments resulting in this swine like behaviour.

Shinya • 1 year ago

Fair point. Unfortunately, there are many people like that.

Gau Ban • 1 year ago

Shinya: "in comparison to the other genres that I don't see anyone complaining about."

Have you not seen any of the negative comments about the isekai's and harem's because the comments about yaoi and yuri anime is a ghost town in comparison.

I don't remember many specifics about it but years ago when i was about 12, I was watching "mirage of blaze" on tv but regretted it
I had no internet then, so i had no way to know what it would be without watching it, and that's part of the problem with media sometimes baiting people for views. some will recieve it with joy and others will be offended.
About mirage of blaze it was all the rape elements. the bl element was not the problem I actually did not realize it was bl until the one guy started acting more 'overtly'

takaya/kagetora got trapped in a mirror and a guy was giving off prison-level rape vibes. exposure to that show was in a way traumatizing to my then young mind because out of the hundreds of shows and thousands of hours of shows i have seen and forgotten about i still remember having watched that show, younger minds don't fully pickup on some things and some for better or worse are engrained.

Shinya • 1 year ago

Frankly speaking yes. But also frankly speaking, the hate Yaoi and Yuri (much less) is of a different level and different nature. Harem and isekai may be attacked for the trope in the plot and how overdone it is, but BL is attacked for something that has to do with people's sexuality and people of LGBTQ are feeling personally attacked, hurt or less safe by it. I will agree on the fact the BL tropes of fanservice can be cringe or silly, as much as every other fanservice. And other toxic relationships in both Yaoi and Yuri are unspeakable and personally this is my biggest problem with those geners. The good and healthy relationships are very few. And that comes from an LGBTQ person. But the haters don't focus on that. They just parade their despise for the homosexuality genre. Not the plot itself.
Personally, as a person that never commented against an anime, except once that they oversexualized 12 yo girls, I find no point on hating on anime that aren't just your taste. I decide not to watch them and that's the end of it.

Gau Ban • 1 year ago

don't know if you have heard of Viki, it has a lot of shows on there "live-action ones" not animation and it has several bl shows and a few gl. Advice for an untarnished viewing experience there is to turn the comments off or swat the heckling flies with a report, it's better to not argue with idiots and trolls they are not worth the effort. A show could be a nearly stressfree fluff piece and some people still find something to complain about.

Shinya • 1 year ago

I actually wasn't aware of this site, thank you for the information. I am checking it out right now.
Another issue though, people don't mention when it comes to these shows is that there is censorship (in China specifically) and even if there are shows and comics with couples of the same gender, they aren't allowed to show intimacy and some of them are banned, even if the story is extremely healthy and wholesome.
Now...about the trolls and the argues, not gonna lie, it can be very stressful, and you are right, people always find something to complain about... we can't change that, but when there is even a tiny opening for productive conversation, it might be worth it. Even if you don't win over the one you argue with, some others that might read the conversation might find a point they weren't aware of, or some thoughts they never thought before, or even some words that express their own feelings and beliefs and feel understood. I feel thrilled to see comments that agree with what I think. And right now because of my answer to that person, I got a comment from you and information for a site that might offer me a lot of good shows to watch. So definitely not a waste. 🌺

iCurvaceous • 1 year ago

Wouldnt you say that people's sexuality and people outside of LGBTQ are also feeling personally attacked when culture all around us is forcing us to watch inclusive content(they dont tag nor forewarn)? they suddenly waste their time when its something that's not their preference? I've seen anime fans beg for Yuri/Yaoi and many other things in non BL/gay anime too. Its mutually disturbing for both sides tbh. It's one thing to actively seek BL/gay content and flame in the comments and another thing to seek to watch a good anime and be disappointed by the outcome of the genre simply because people don't care to use functions already created on a website. Thats why I'd say people are being forced to watch it here, rather than choosing to. Not everyone is going to just move on and accept after they had their time wasted 30 mins or 50 mins into an anime. And its easy for people to channel their hate and lash out towards people of said subject. Not saying its ok. I'm saying there are obviously friendlier spaces where young people gather where LGBTQ can feel more safe than this website and its most likely due to the measures I'm speaking about.

Shinya • 1 year ago

Nobody actually forces you to watch anything really... The moment you see an element you do not like, just close the video and skip to the next of your interest. It's very simple. No need to waste 30-50 minutes in it. Do you know how many actually annoying or unhealthy things we all bump into? We avoid them and go on with our lives. I don't wanna be forced with oversexualized fanservice or harem for example. And it's there for ages and in all media. I just skip it. I will agree to what you say about the tags. They tags should be more specific, for all of us to find easier what suits us and what to avoid. And indeed if there are places that we can find the content separatedly, it would be indeed helpful for both sides, but also there is a problem with how practical that would be. I mean...not all plots that include LGBTQ people are focused on that. They might be side characters or a tiny part on the plot. Where this should go in that case? I think this is why there is the tag of shounen ai or shoujo ai, as also yaoi and yuri. Only that for censorship reason, often those tags are banned. Things like that are a part of life to an extend to each person's life and social circle. I too find disturbing when the social media force it in such a pretentious way... and I get people will end up being more hostile towards us if they feel forced to accept us. But the hate we get even when it comes to random anime comments only pushes things further and the balance will never come this way...

iCurvaceous • 1 year ago

Some of the content doesn't show until late into the show watched... sometimes it gets heavy too. This is what I mean by wasted time, but I'm glad we agree about the tags. Even if not all plots are focused on these things the fact that it affects the audience is the courtesy and consideration. Example Webtoon forewarns every time on sensitive topics and no one has had any problems with it. If it's a single episode, an image showing for 3 seconds warning others or words above the video in red before you press play is sufficient.

Also I've seen extreme hate towards new shows/movies that don't include LGBTQ content by audiences. For example, the latest Super Mario Bros movie got lots of backlash for not including any LGBTQ content. In that context this can be seen as hate for not desiring to be LGBTQ as well. So its a little bit bigger than just skipping content. All genres have people doing both, requesting to be exclusive and inclusive. It's like you can't make both sides happy without showing that courtesy and consideration I was talking about. That's the only one thing I've seen successful in spaces. If we had more people being considerate about their audiences when they publish content, share content etc. I think we will get the more liked safe spaces everyone is yearning for.

absentmindedosaka • 1 year ago

Nah, they are prob closeted gay men, just hating themselves.

Archaic Sage • 1 year ago

They have just as much right to express themselves as you do. Don't read it if you don't like it.

Meh Idk but K • 1 year ago

"Right to express" is different from a "need to express", but regardless of that statement, intent matters. "Dont go around hating stuff you don't understand" yet he goes to defend the kind of people that go to comment sections on an anime before it's release to comment "not watching BL" "too gay" etc. Maybe you should think about your Profile's tagline "way smarter than you" if you're going to be spewing such incoherent logic.

Archaic Sage • 1 year ago

The people complaining about the complaints of others, are doing the exact same thing they are. The only logic that is incoherent here, is yours. Statements of fact aren't your forte, are they?

Meh Idk but K • 1 year ago

This is my last message since you don't seem to be able to comprehend. I'd ask you to consider whether all statements are worth expressing?

Should, when we consider to make a statement, evaluate the value of said statement in relations to net good to social wellbeing?

I've noticed among your comments you like claiming that you have a higher understanding, further knowledge or comprehension on a topic and belittle others with "you wouldn't understand"... which frankly aside from screaming psuedo-intellectual snob, if you did claim such knowledge, would you not be able to succintly provide an easily agreeable statement rather than gatekeeping that knowledge. Not to mention the hautiness of "Way smarter than you" - what impression do you think that leaves to others that you have intentionally gone out of your way to add a blurb on your profile proclaiming your intellectual superority, as though you need that statement to compensate and make yourself feel better in some way.

You come across as a complete sophist.
Also you didn't actually answer my point but deflected with "they're also doing it" as if that negated my claim that as quoting from your own message that you deny someone making a complaint yet you permit the original complaint as if thought are seperate events.

Anyway, take a good time reading this, it seems like aside from understanding it, you need to reflect. I will not view your response if you make such nor will I respond. I plan not to waste any further time, but perhaps this could be useful to your "archaic" mentality, dear sage :)

You are the one who dosen't understand that getting your feathers ruffled every time someone has a different opinion than you is counterproductive. Please do just stop. ✋️

The most dangerous Cult Japan Has Ever Seen you mean

That carried out the worst act of domestic terrorism in Japanese history.

Here's some Trivia
1. Aum Shinrikyo tried too have Ryuho Okawa, leader of the cult Happy Science, assassinated with VX gas one year before the subway terror attack.

Os • 1 year ago

Na 3 Ep rule :)

Unless its a Japanese Occult Sarin Gas anime that was recently uploaded then uh ...

Archaic Sage • 1 year ago

There is more to that story than you are aware. Don't go around hating stuff you don't understand. You make yourself look exactly like the people you are attempting to admonish.

Os • 1 year ago

Ok Woke One I recommend you go watch Chouetsu Sekai to Completion :)

Why Do I need to defend an occult leader?

Archaic Sage • 1 year ago

I have already seen all of their productions. I have already stated why.

Os • 1 year ago

Wait are you defending Chouetsu Sekai the anime made by an Occult production team
Or was it Opus Colors ?
Think you went and tried to defend the wrong Production?

Archaic Sage • 1 year ago

I will defend them both.

Os • 1 year ago

Uh ... explain your defense of Chouetsu Sekai :)

Meh Idk but K • 1 year ago

Seems like the typical "free speech is free speech" kinda guy.

Os • 1 year ago

Makes sense, kind of hard to defend an occult group that went and did a batch of mass murders and prepped a strategy to start World War III you know :)

Archaic Sage • 1 year ago

Their sect was a peaceful one. They rose to 100 billion Yen financial power. Do you really believe a few fanatics are capable of creating and property handling something like sarin gas? Don't be an idiot.

Os • 1 year ago

Let it be known how close this cult was to ending the world. The subway attack was only put into motion because Shoko feared the police were about to apprehend him, his real plan was to start nuclear Armageddon. They had imported a Russian military helicopter into Japan for use during a massive sarin attack on Japan. The subway attack was legitimately the rushed work of someone who was violently paranoid, even the gas wasn’t manufactured with as much efficacy as was predicted - the subway attack was actually meant to be a diversion from something bigger, that’s how broken his mind was. Shoko’s mind and power were so extreme that the world was WEEKS from a nuclear, dirty bomb, or an even bigger gas attack incident involving this group.

Archaic Sage • 1 year ago

You need to leave Wikipedia alone, it's rotting your brain.

Really wouldlike it if people were like this, like anime or manga or light novels or fanfiction if your not gonna read it and u dont like it dont bother leaving snarky remarks and being a absolute asshole, would just prefer it if they used common sense and realised that it's better to go watch something u like or read something u enjoy instead of being a negative influence. everyone has freedom to comment but when you know u dont like it then u should just shut the fuck up and walk away, because being a negative asshole isn't going to change what the product is.

Tinwe • 1 year ago

I'm not even watching this one, but you've got to love all those guys who see all male cast and go "gay anime". All female cast is somehow great and barely anyone thinks of yuri then. How does that work? Or do they just call "gay anime" anything that doesn't have fights and/or tons of boobs in it?

Noah Winns-Cromer • 1 year ago

That and/or the OTHER thing I won't mention.

I mean, if you don't like yaoi anime or yuri, that's fine, I got no problem with it. But to take a step further is where I take issue. And it's ironic considering we have a yuri anime this season made by Passione, Yuri is my Job.

These are the same people who'd go out of their way to hype up their Demon Slayers and Chainsaw Mans, or would wanna be Makima's dog, but two guys being a tad more than friends is where they draw the line.

Typecero • 1 year ago

It’s a very scary thing still present in the world.

People will chant the phrase “get woke, go broke” till the chickens come home to roost…

But then they don’t see how much they really should “get woke” in this instance when they bash on an anime for even possibly being gay (yaoi in our case)

And then you have the complete opposite effect, but still the “undertone”, that comes up with lesbian anime (Yuri for consistency).

Both are very homophobic in their own way, and it makes them look outright sad. You like the possibility of two women interacting in that way, but run for the hills at guys?

Father Time, if you do exist, speed up the “get woke” on this concept.

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

I don't mind watching ether but ofc I pass on some BL anime cause of not cause the homo stuff but rather if it's so boring I'd dropped it like it's no tomorrow and GL anime tends to be the better choices 8 chances out of 10 due to girls lol, also main reason for me is the story plot is not boring and dry depending on it.

Ani-Monarch(AM) • 1 year ago

Oh ho a fellow mobuseku reader

Archaic Sage • 1 year ago

There is a good reason why it happens. It isn't a reason you will like or understand, but it is a natural occurrence and part of being human.

Typecero • 1 year ago

No that is not a good reason. And it is not a “natural occurrence” and part of being human.

Hating people for being a skin color or a gender or a sexual preference is none of those things.

This is not the animal kingdom, and we are not prey or predators to one another.

By your logic, the Holocaust was a “natural occurrence” because it is natural and part of being human…

Archaic Sage • 1 year ago

It is natural, as it is a part of the evolutionary process. See, I told you that you wouldn't like or understand it, but it absolutely has to happen.

Ashlee001 • 1 year ago

@typecero I don't think getting woke is the answer. I love anime but would never bash another's taste nor would I "get woke". My way of looking at it is if its not your thing don't watch it, don't comment on it, just move your buns on to what you like and leave the rest of us to enjoy what we like or don't like period! Woke is for the rats who follow the piper, thinking for yourself is where its at.

Kozuki Momonosuke • 1 year ago

Without big booba waifus it's automatically labeled as gay anime LMAO xD
